What is PlanetStalker?

PlanetStalker tracks the real-time positions of planets across the zodiac and notifies you when a planet changes sign — known as a planetary transit. Subscribe to the planets and transitions you care about and receive a notification the moment they occur.

How do I subscribe to a planet transition?

Open the app and tap on any planet to view its detail screen. From there you can subscribe to notifications for when that planet enters a new zodiac sign. You can manage all your subscriptions from the main screen.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

First, check that you have granted notification permission to PlanetStalker in your device Settings under Notifications → PlanetStalker. Then confirm you have at least one active subscription in the app. Notifications are delivered locally by your device — no internet connection is required once the app has calculated the transition times.

How accurate are the transit times?

PlanetStalker uses a well-established astronomical algorithm to calculate planetary positions. Transit times are accurate to within a few minutes. Exact times may vary slightly depending on the ephemeris model used.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No. All planetary calculations are performed on-device. An internet connection is not required for notifications or for browsing planet positions.

Does PlanetStalker collect my data?

No. PlanetStalker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All preferences and subscriptions remain on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my data?

All app data is stored locally on your device. To remove it completely, simply delete the app from your device. No data exists on any external server.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Please send a description of the issue to admin@planetstalker.ovh including your device model and iOS version. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful.
